What Causes Chronic Headache?

Hello. My partners is suffering with debilitating headaches. We have been through multiple tests, what feels like a million different drugs,. He is to the point where he can t work at all and our family life and personal life is being affected. Can a chemical imbalance cause this degree of headache? Could a tumour somewhere in his body be releasing some sort of chemical?

This could be migraine. Most of the tests in migrainous headache are normal. Consult a psychiatrist/neurologist for proper treatment.
