Hello, I have a history of chronic headaches. About 9 months or so ago, I started having horrible ear pain deep in my right ear. I have had issues with my sinuses since I can remember and I am now 52 years old. I had an MRI done in October of last year and it shows a mucoid retention cyst in my right sinus, this is also the side that most of my sinus issues are on, as well as the earache. I also have a lot of pressure in my sinuses, especially on the right side, as well as behind my eye. In the past couple of days, the ear pain has gotten pretty intense. The way I describe how it feels, is it feels like little people are cleaning my sinuses with sand paper and taking it out my ear. I have severe drainage first thing in the morning, but was told that this is normal and everyone h\as it. I have had three docs look at my ear, and none see anything wrong in my ear, so I am dismissed without looking further into what is causing the pain. I am frustrated beyond words and want the pain to stop. I have looked at my MRI images and see the cyst, as well as what looks like a lot of snot, or something on the right side, and my nose looks very crooked, but I have never had a broken nose, but the MRI looks as though I have. Do you have any idea as to why I am in so much pain in my ear and sinuses and if the cyst mnay be causing this as well as the headaches?
