Hi there just a question, I was diagnosed with primary sclorosing colinjitus (sorry unsure of spelling) now recently that was found to be wrongful diagnosis, now they are saying its mild chronic hepatitis but carnt tell me why how etc what exactly is mild chronic hepatitis? I have had abnormal liver results for more than 12 years and sick of being a guinea pig. Thanks for your time
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Mild chronic hepatitis is long term infection of liver. It might be due to various reasons 1.Viral hepatitis which is causes by viral infection 2.Alcoholic hepatitis which usually develops over years-long exposure to alcohol 3.Drug-induced hepatitis 4.Other uncommon reasons like Autoimmune,Ischemic hepatitis,Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, etc Chronic Hepatitis may occur with limited or no symptoms, but often leads to jaundice (a yellow discoloration of the skin, mucous membrane, and conjunctiva), poor appetite, and malaise.
Hoping your query is solved. Get well soon.
