What Causes Chronic Left Sided Pain In The Abdomen With History Of Hysterectomy?

I had an emergency hysterectomy left fallopian tube removed after my uterus burst 8 years ago when I delivered my son. I have been having quite a bit of pain in my lower left abdominal region. I saw my general MD last week, and had an ultrasound which turned out to be negative. No offense, but I m feeling like someone has missed something. My MD offered no reason for the pain I am feeling. Is it possibly scar tissues causing a ruckus? = ) Any info would be very helpful.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
post surgery scar tissue may lead to such pain and is probable explanation provided all the other organic causes have been excluded. but be advised that almost all surgeries leave scar tissue and not all scar tissue cause problems
