What Causes Chronic Migraine Headaches Along With Sporadic Disorientation?
i experienced memory loss ealier today, it s not the first time, it happens here and there. i felt out of it, disoriented and I couldnt carry on a conversation. was helping my kids with hw when it started, they asked me for a pencil and i didnt know what a penicil was, i didnt know what anything was. I couldnt think or understand anything. 15 mins prior I had what my neurologist calls a migraine, when my vision goes, no headache, no other symptoms but nausea and my pupils constrict pin point, not on any drugs medications or alcohol, I do suffer from migraines but i didnt have one today not a real one. it was really scary. so then i started crying. cant get a doctor to listen and take this seriously.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Migraine doesn't cause memory loss. I would like you to have an MRI brain done and include optic nerve sections also in it and get a complete neurological examination repeated. It could be a symptom of some problem in the brain.
Hope it helps.
