What Causes Chronic Pain In Neck Along With Erectile Dysfunction?

I am African, 31 years old, about 55kg and 5ft2 tall. Recently married. For a while now I have carried pain in my neck on both sides. It has refused to heal up. What could be wrong? I have no history of pain in my neck nor ill health. Just about the same time, I seemed to start suffering from weak erection and sometimes it is simply no erection. I don t also have morning erections anymore. With my wife I m able to manage mild erection just for one round of sex. It would be luxury to get erection afterwards and if I do, it may not be good enough or simply can t see us through a round of sex. Rarely I have mild erections during the day. All these started January this year. Before then, I was not sexually active but I used to have very strong erections. Just talking to my fiancée over the phone is good enough to get me erected. She s my wife now and I can barely get it up and only when I am physically with her. She s not complaining but I don t want it to get to that point. 1. So what could be the cause of the neck pain? 2. What could be responsible for the sudden loss of erection? 3. Could there be any connection between the neck pain and the erection problem? The pain does not extend to my back or even lower back region. Thank you Joseph

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Normal erectile function is related 4 factors: (a) normal blood supply to the genitalia (b)normal nerve supply (c) normal level of certain hormones (d) no psychological stress

Poor blood supply can occur in conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking. These are some causes.
Nerve supply can be affected by diabetes and other nerve related conditions

You may want to consider having a testosterone level done by your doctor, if low, this may be a possible cause that may be able to be corrected by testosterone replacement.

The other options would be medications such as viagra, cialis or levitra.
These all help with erectile dysfunction.

If there is any psychological stress or worries that may be contributing, this should be addressed.

I hope this helps
