Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I m having severe pain in my right arm. I can feel popping in the shoulder area. An xray shows no problem. Also, I can feel a vein popping in the right side of my head, over my ear. I am 50 years old, 124 lbs, 5 3 . I work out daily. I am a breast cancer survivor/right side.
MRI of shoulder area can help in correct diagnosis if anything missed on physical examination. Don't take caffeine, smoke, carb drinks etc. Check once eyesight and blood pressure too from local physician, if you taking any meds, it can also produce the popping you mentioned. Eat antioxidant like amla, aloe vera, basil etc., and fresh fruits and vegetables, juices, salads for few days and multivitamin for a week. Orthopedist can be consulted.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
