What Causes Chronic Pain In The Back Of An Athlete?
hello!! i am a female high school track athlete and every time we work out my back hurts so bad!! we went on a ski trip last year and i jarred my back when we were sledding (i went up the ramp and i landed hard on my bottom) and i took the rest of the season off because that s what the athletic trainer suggested but its been the same for a while until last friday when it started to really hurt and now i cant get comfortable and I m getting maybe 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night because i cant get comfortable and sitting in class hurts so bad!!! i cant concentrate on anything except my back

It could be due to problems in the inter-vertebral disk in the spinal column. Kindly get CT and MRI scan done of your spine and pelvic region at the earliest and consult Orthopaedic Surgeon with the report for further evaluation and management.
