General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The commonest causes I can think about are:
Stone in the urinary bladder.
Cystitis.
Possibility of something stuck to the urinary bladder and pulls on while the bladder is contracted.
This can be diagnosed in the following ways:
Send the urine sample for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity tests before antibiotic is started.
Tests of blood for CBC, kidney functions.
Tests of stool.
X-ray and ultrasonography of abdomen.
Clinical evaluation by your Doctor and second opinion of a Urologist,
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and gives a plan of management.
Take plenty of oral fluids and painkiller for the pains you have.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
