Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I can t be sure if I am having a yeast infection or a UTI. I feel no burning or itching. Just pelvic pain when I have to go to the bathroom. This started bad on friday night. It would wake me up and I thought the pain would pull me out of my skin it hurts so bad. i tried Triconizole from the drug store and it hasn t helped that was Friday night.
The commonest causes I can think about are: Stone in the urinary bladder. Cystitis. Possibility of something stuck to the urinary bladder and pulls on while the bladder is contracted. This can be diagnosed in the following ways: Send the urine sample for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity tests before antibiotic is started. Tests of blood for CBC, kidney functions. Tests of stool. X-ray and ultrasonography of abdomen. Clinical evaluation by your Doctor and second opinion of a Urologist, All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and gives a plan of management. Take plenty of oral fluids and painkiller for the pains you have.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
