Hi,

Noted your history of starting the problems with scratching of throat followed by losing voice, sneezing, coughing, change of voice, now enlarged neck lymph nodes and is going on in the area with many people suffering similar propblems.
All your history is classical of viral infection.
Hence the treatment has to be symptomatic but at the same time it may be required to consult your Doctor for ruling out any complication that can easily occur.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Instill Decongestant nasal drops in nose followed by plain water steam inhalations.
Oral antihistamine.
Anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
If this helps continue and if no improvement then a possibility of secondary infection and need of an antibiotic may be required.
Avoid contact with people around hence have strict bed rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
