Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sciatica pain may be due to nerve root compression or due to disc prolapse or spondylosis. Unless treating the cause, it is difficult to recover.

Sciatica and leg swelling can be connected because the pain and limited mobility from sciatica often lead to an inactive lifestyle that can cause fluid buildup and blood flow problems. Please consult your neurosurgeon so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
