What Causes Chronic Sore Throat And Hard Spots On Roof Of Mouth?
im 24 years old.ive had a sore throat for a couple of months now. I noticed my tonsils had white spots on them and I got worried. A couple of days later the spots went away but now I have tiny flesh colored bumps on my throat and and around the uluva. Sometimes on the roof of my mouth ill get hard spots they dont hurt unless I mess w them and you cant see them. im scared to death of stds. Please ease my mind.also I had a strep and culture test done at a dr and it all came back negative. Its stressing me out

Possible causes are:
1. Granular pharyngitis
2. Multiple ulcers
3. Herpes simplex lesions
4. Lymph node or adenoids enlargement
5. Small boils or acne or local puss collect
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625mg twice a day for five days. Use salt water gargling thrice a day. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
