What Causes Chronic Throat Irritation?
Hi my 8 yr old son has felt like clearing his throat for several days now. He has no cold symptoms. He is also very tired even after a full nights sleep. I am wondering if I should have his throat or tonsils looked at by our physician? Do you have any thoughts?

In my opinion you should consult a paediatric doctor for examination and a battery of tests
He may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor
