Sir, I am suffering from throat pain past 1 month. During that period i consulted the doctor and he gave me some tablets for bacterial infection. My throat swab test was negative. I consulted other doctor and he prescribed me Montek LC for 1 month. I am 27 years old and i used to smoke.
If the pain is persisting despite the use of medication and there are no signs and symptoms of allergies or infection then you may want to consider visiting an ENT doctor (ear nose and throat).
He or she would be able to determine the exact cause of the pain.
Additional testing may be needed.
I hope this helps
