What Causes Chronic Trembling In Lower Stomach Radiating To Legs And Chest?
I m male 66 yrs old I wake up in the middle of of night with trembling in my lower stomach and goes to my legs and my chest This happen several times in the last 15 yrs. I take 4 blood pressure pills a day. sometimes lasts 5 10 minutes or 30 min. No fever or pain just shakes as if I was cold. My Doctor has no answers ??
As you are reporting to be taking 4 blood pressure pills a day, then, trembling in your lower stomach that irradiated to your legs and chest might be related to: - oscillation in blood pressure/sugar levels: should monitor them, record the results for further evaluation by your doctor - stomach issues: get physical examination by your doctor - electrolyte imbalance (especially if you are taking diuretic): run whole blood work, electrolyte balance, thyroid function test - neurological problems: should get a full neurological examination by neurologist to rule them out and/or treat them accordingly
All the best! Dr.Albana
