I have week and tired legs felt fine this morning, had breakfast and started laundry suddenly felt weak. I have taken three rest periods and dozed twice and third time went to sleep. Took my BP 140/94, not too bad for me, wondering if circulation my be a problem? I am 83 yrs, very few real health problems. Betty

Hi,

I am glad to hear that you are 83 years of age with few health problems. However weakness in the legs can be due to a couple of reasons. I would like to know if you are on any BP medicines or not. I would also like to know that were you unusually sleepy at that time and if yes then I would request a few tests to check your complete blood count, electrolytes, blood sugar, B12 and cholesterol levels and follow up from there.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Preeti Jolly, Endocrinologist
