What Causes Clay-colored Stool?

I have stomach cramps and my stool when I go to the bathroom has gone very pale this has been happening for about a week...I had a blood test a month ago my liver function was fine ..my kidney function is elevated.my m.d. says don t worry about kidney results..should I be worried about stool change...

There might be problem with biliary system of your body. Normal stool color is brown. Pale or clay colored stool is abnormal especially when it is continuous. Cause needs to be investigated. What kind of problem with your kidney?? It also needs to be investigated.
Advice
1.     Avoid fatty diet and dairy products
2.     Investigations
a.     USG abdomen
b.     Serum bilirubin
c.     SGPT & SGOT
d.     Serum creatinine, blood urea
e.     Serum amylase and lipase
Further action will be taken after report of above test.
