What Causes Clear Liquid Discharge Under Toenail?
I was cutting my 6 year old sons toe nails when I noticed part if his big toenail was separated more then it should be and getting caught on his sock. I trimmed his nail and noticed clear liquid coming out from under his nail.....what causes this and can it be treated with over the counter meds?

From history it seems that he might be having nail bed infection and now nail is detaching from the nail bed.
He might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days with proper dressing.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
