What Causes Clear Vaginal Discharge With Missed Periods While Breastfeeding?
I am a breastfeeding mother haven t got my period for about a year now. I m usually irregular. I have been gushing whitish spot every once in awhile. I always have to use a pad for this problem. I had sex 2 days ago...the 3 day a huge clear gooey and icky gush of vaginal is this normal? I worried about this?
If you are regularly breastfeeding your child day and night, the menses may not appear. This condition is called as Lactational amenorrhoea. Usually, the Lactational amenorrhoea ends after six months, however, it may continue further. Though your Lactational amenorrhoea is continuing, you will not be protected from the pregnancy. Pregnancies in Lactational amenorrhoea, particularly after six months are well known. To end this amenorrhoea, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days and within 4-7 days after that you should get withdrawal bleeding. After that, please start birth control pills. They will offer you protection against pregnancy as well as will help regularising your menses.
Your problem of white spots seems to be fungal infection. This causes flaky curdy discharge. After intercourse, it got mixed with the semen and the amount was more. You may require anti-fungal vaginal ovules. If it is greenish frothy discharge, it may be Trichomonal infection which can be treated by Metronidazole. They usually cause itching at the private parts with burning at the end of urination. Please report this to your Gynaecologist.
I hope this helps you today.
