What Causes Clogged Ears, Dizziness And Headache?

Having a symptom of when I stand after sitting down my ears plug up and get a little dizzy. Plus my head feels like there is pressure there. Also have been getting eyeball headaches behind my right eye. Don t know if that s part of this whole thing. Please help me figure this out if I really have to go in for it or it s something that should pass.

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of clogged ears, dizziness and headache which can occur due to the accumulation of earwax, ear fluid, an ear infection to a more serious condition like an acoustic neuroma.

Need not to worry. If your symptoms and episodes of ear clogging are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. The doctor may order certain test like audiometry, CT scan, MRI, low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss, exposure to loud noises, earwax build-up and middle ear infection. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with a sharp object.
