What Causes Clogging Of Ears After Antibiotics For Infection
Hi My Name is John, I got an ear infection about 2 weeks ago. I saw a Dr and he put me on antibiotics. After a few days there was really no pain but my ear became unbearably clogged. I could really only hear out of one ear, I can hear myself talking when I speak. I was able to blow a little air out of my ears to move stuff around. I am still having trouble hearing and it seems like it is still clogged. I don t know if i should go back to the Dr for more antibiotics. I am worried because I am a Music Teacher and I can not lose my hearing.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The clogging of the ears seem to be related to post ear infection. It is a normal condition that usually lasts for a week. In case that you have these symptoms for a longer period, I suggest to see an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
