Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Cloudy Urine Along With Yeast Infection?
My urine is cloudy and it seems as though I may have a yeast infection as the vaginal area is uncomfortable. Sometimes when I finish urinating it feels as though the urethea channel is irritated but does not burn when I start to urinate. I am getting over a cold, am not taking cold medicine and do not want to take any antibiotics for this. Is there a natural way to get rid of this situation? Carol
Based on your description, it appears that you could be having urinary tract infection along with yeast infection. Kindly get your urine tested for urine routine examination along with microscopy followed by urine culture and sensitivity test.
You may need to be treated with an appropriate course of antibiotics if the report states urinary tract infection. For yeast infection, you need to apply anti-fungal medications in the form of a cream.
Kindly consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
