What Causes Coated Tongue And Mouth Blisters?

Cough more then 6wks, night sweats, got treated with 5day round anti-bs, helped just a little now its getting worse again just two days after anti-bs finished with new symptoms of white tounge and little ant bite looking blisters on palete and inside of lips and cheeks? Do I need to get chest xray and checked for brochiolitis?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the blisters over the palate and the oral mucosa can be secondary to herpes virus infection. This can occur secondary to stress or following antibiotic therapy. The coated tongue can be a fungal infection secondary to the course of antibiotics. Nothing be panic. Blisters are self limiting, this will subside in a week. For the pain you can take topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. For the coated tongue you can do a proper tongue brushing and do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care
