What Causes Cold Along With Cough And Swollen Lips?

i am currently taking oxybutynin 5mg. one a day. Had signs of a cold coming on, running nose, cought, etc. took a Mucinex-DM 12 hr. tablet. h woke the next morning with my lips swallen. Next day my right side of my face was drooping, eyes watering, . went to Dr. today and he said i had a alergigic reaction to something. I didn t think of the Mucinex till after I got home and was trying to think of what i took to cause this reaction. can you tell me if taking both of these caused this reaction?

Mucinex may cause rashes however till that none of this type allergic reaction reported yet. Besides the reaction is also not due to interaction between drugs you are taking.
It might be possible that other ingredients mixed to make formulation of mucinex might be allergic to you and responsible for this reaction.
For reaction you can take tablet chlorpheniramine and prednisolone 12 hourly for 2-3 days. As these are prescription drugs you have to consult treating physician to get these drugs prescribed.
