I just got a cold about two days ago. my throat has been hurting the whole time I been sick. but now instead of my throat being sore, there feels like there s a lump towards the middle of my throat. why is it there and how can I get rid of this lump fast?

This is a very common clinical presentation in my clinic and people often complain of lump following sore throat or common cold, flu etc. and as per my experience of ultrasound and related needle biopsy reports, I get following possibilities:
Therefore you have to take warm saline gargle, maintain oral hygiene and see an ENT specialist for a clinical examination and some azithromycin-based antibiotics under medical prescription!
