What Causes Cold Blisters, Dry Lips And Difficulty In Breathing?
Hello. Over a month ago i started to get the flu. After 2 weeks i got better and one week later i got sick again. So i had to take medication. Towards the end my entire lips started to break out with herpes/ cold sore blisters which was very painful. The last week i was coughing very intensly until the right side of my rips, a litte below my breast, started to ache extremly. I had difficulty breathing at all and moving or sleeping. I felt like i was dying so i stopped smoking cigarettes which I should have done much earlier. I was smoking every day even though i was so sick. Now, almost 1 week later the pain is almost gone but not yet. What could this be? Thank you very much
the sores on your lips are a herpes virus, which usually comes out when your body is fighting infection, so it is slightly on the 'weaker' side. These should settle down on their own with time.
The soreness in your ribs seems to be muscle strain, probably as a result of your persistent coughing from the cigarettes and from when you were sick. It may take a couple of days to a few weeks to settle down completely.
But good job on stopping smoking, as it will help it get better sooner.
Take this opportunity to stop smoking for good!
