i am a healthy 35 year old who rarely visits the dr. since november i have been treated for bronchitis and have basically had cold/flu symptoms, have had a consistently sore tailbone and right heel, persistent cough, and now my upper thighs and to a lesser degree upper arms feel bruised...could these be related or have i just had a rough 3+ months?!

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a rheumatological disorder. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- Blood electrolytes
- RF plasma levels
- ANA, ANCA titer
- Vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
