What Causes Cold Hand Post Injury?

My husband fell with two rakes in his hand last summer and we eventually realized that is may have caused some circulation issues. He now has one hand normal temperature and the other hand is very cold. He has realized it more since it is winter now.
Is there anything that could be done to help his circulation in this hand?
