What Causes Cold Sensation In Feet When Suffering From Peripheral Neuropahty?

After moving to another state I asked my new internist why my feet felt cold all the time, I have peripheral neuropahty, which started when I took statin med, Mevacor. My feet hurt more when they felt cold and I wanted to know if I had sufficient circulation to my feet. He said I should have an ultrasound which turned out to be ultrasound for leg pain worse on right . I did not have leg pain, and recently got copies of the exam, learning the US was not done on my feet. They billed me for US in my arms. What can I do as I did not get the test I needed (have since changed doctor since moved 40 miles south)? The internist told me the test did not show any decrease of circulation although the report said nothing about my feet. The Radiology company sent my bill to collections, when the part of the bill was for arms per Medicare questioning confirmed twice. Medicare and supplement paid for eval on legs. No diagnosis on the report or the order. Isn t that required. I told the person in radiology that I wanted to know if my feet were getting enough circulation. Their error is reported on my credit report. What do you think I should do about this?
