What Causes Cold Sensation In Mouth, Chin And Ear?
Hello, I have cold feeling in mouth, lower chin ,& inside of the right ear. I ve been sick with flu for almost 3 weeks,& the cold feeling with extreme fatigue feeling is not going away. I ve had this cold feeling on & off for 3-4 years when I am under the weather for a few days at a time. But this time is constant for 3 weeks. I need some advice please.
Sometimes, flu infection will take more than usual to improve especially if immunity is low and the patient do not take enough rest. First, we should make sure you do not have any other underlying illness like chronic disease (heart, liver or kidney), or even anemia. So, you need to run some tests now to check it out. Should talk with your caring doctor. For the moment, I can only advise to: - Keep well hydrated (drink more water, fresh squeezed fruit juice, honey lemon tea, or any other tea) - Eat healthy and regular meals without skipping any - Take magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, D supplement to boost your immunity
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
