What Causes Cold, Sore Throat, Productive Cough And Stiff Neck?

I have had a cold (runny nose, feeling weak for a few days) and that lasted 7 days. Now, just last night, I had such a sore prickly throat that I found it hard to sleep. This was followed by coughing (hacking) with no mucus coming up. Now, I have a stiff neck. No fever or weakness, though.

Hi,

You have an infection of throat.
Take steam inhalation and NSAID like Advil for pain.
Do hot saline gargles.
Have a course of antibiotics.
