What Causes Cold Spells In The Arms And Feet?

Good day,
I have chronic cold spells in my hands and feet for the last 5 months. Especially triggered while reading, writing, doing homework or engaging in any other mental activities. The amount of time I'm able to type on a computer is limited to how long it takes my fingers and joints to become so cold and painful that I cannot bear continuing to move them. Changing my position, moving around, and drinking hot beverages doesn't seem to have much impact. When laying in bed, I can only read/hold my phone for 5-7 minuted before my hand holding the phone goes numb. I wake up in the middle of the night with an entire arm painfully numb without sleeping in a position that would cause the circulation to cut off.
Beyond these symptoms, I'm 28 year old full time student in grad school. I'm generally very healthy and physically fit with no underlying conditions I'm aware of. I eat a balanced healthy diet with regular exercise. I've noticed that low-intensity exercise, like Tai Ji, greatly trigger the cold hands and feet, yet my body feels very hot and begins to sweat. High intensity workouts do not trigger the same effects.
Any thought?
