What Causes Cold Sweats Followed By Vomiting?
Hello, Doctor. Last Monday I left work because I had cold sweat and I puked. When I got home I vomited 2 more times, so in the afternoon I went to Urgent Care and was found out to have fever. I was only prescribed Zofran ODT 8 mg PRN and nothing more. I ve been feeling like I want nothing but to lay down and rest. I checked out symptoms of gastrointestinal flu and except for diarrhea and fever that I no longer have, do I have the stomacj flu?

You would have gastritis, which is inflammation or infection (or both) of the stomach. This is most commonly due to infection. Viral infection is the most common cause. It can be associated with residual fatigue, even after the other symptoms have resolved. In most cases, the symptoms will improve by 2 weeks.
