Hello,
The flu is a respiratory infection that’s caused by the
influenza virus. In some people, flu causes a mild illness. However, in other groups it can be potentially serious and even life threatening. In your case, (considering your age), if you do not have important chronic diseases the flu can be considered a mild illness.
The seasonal flu shot is available every year to help defend against becoming sick with the flu. It’s safe to receive the flu shot if you’re sick with a mild illness. Anyway my advice is speak to your doctor prior to receiving the flu shot. He know your exact
medical diagnosis, so he can decide if you have a mild or moderate illness.
Your doctor may decide to delay your flu shot until after you’ve recovered. About the
tingling in your heart, I suggests to do an EKG and to consult your local doctor because this symptom can be related to a heart condition. For this reason, it is important to do a heart health check as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
