What Causes Collapsed Eardrum With Ear Discharge?
We just found out that my wife s eardrum has collapsed . She started having drainage 3 days ago. A nurse checked her ear and advised of the situation. My wife s doctor is unavailable til later in the week but they are calling in antibiotics. What are potential causes and is this the right first step? Does she need to see a specialist?

you can see a specialist who can have a look at the eat through otoscope.. try to keep ear dry. no water should enter the ear
