What Causes Confusion After Taking Oseltamivir Phosphate?

Hi, my daughter has had flu like symptoms for a couple of days and her MD prescribed oseltamivir phosphate, 75 mg capsule 2x/day. She has taken just one at the same time took a tylenol, about 5pm EST. She just woke up, 4 hours later, cold, no more fever (for now at least) but confused and feeling like she is floating. Should we be calling our MD...it is after hours and so it would be the on call MD. Thanks, Janet

Hi,

It is not related to Oseltamivir. If symptoms are severe, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI scan.
