hi i have had congestion problems for about 3 weeks now i visited my gp as i felt dizzy,felt like a was going deaf and had green from my nose.she 1st prescribed me PSEUDOEPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE to clear the congestion and said if it does not clear to go back,the dizziness went and i can hear again but the green from my nose was horrendous so i rang up and they issued me with a prescription of 15 500mg AMOXICILLIN im coming to the end of these and although the green seems to be clearing my nose is throbbing and my eybrow bone and forehead are throbbing and very tender???
Hi. It does look like you are suffering from sinusitis. You will need a long course of antibiotic, preferably for 11 days. You should also use decongestant nose drops like otrivin. Instill 3 drops in each nostril 3 times a day and follow it up with steam for 6 days. You can also take a pain killer like tylenol or ibuprofen after confirming your dose.
