Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
Ok, Since your
cough is associated with burning in the pit of stomach, and this has lasted for over two months, i guess that the cough is caused by the gastroesophageal reflux. Partial reflux might not be understood, you may feel just some
heartburn sometimes, increased liquids or saliva in the mouth, and cough. In the complete reflux, the stomach containing comes back to the mouth. I would recommend you an antiacid drug to lower the amount of
gastric acid produced, so the symptoms will be gone. Take ranitidin or
omeprazole as advised per your pharmacist to deal with this condition. Avoid salty, spicy foods, caffeinated drinks, chocolate, alcohol which worsen the reflux. If your symptoms persist for too long, even on medication please kindly
consult a gastroenterologist doctor to see you in details.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
