I been having them for about 2 years now.. I have been to Dr. my ekg was normal, I was in the hospital a year ago thinking I was having a heart attack and everything was fine.. Had a stress test which was good.. I am 47, what is wrong with me...
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
After going through your medical details I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that PVCs do happen in all individuals in some they are occasional and in some they are frequent. You need to get a treatment if they are causing you dizziness or chest discomfort, if they are asymptomatic then it generally doesn’t require any treatment. If symptomatic then you can start your treatment with Beta blockers if it doesn’t help then consult a cardiologist for RFA treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Stress, anxiety and excess use of caffeine all can cause PVC. As your all cardio work up is clean nothing much to worry about now. Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety as these can worsen the symptoms.
