Bloating is normal with diverticulosis and both can be due to constipation. It is important that you have treatment for constipation to help with the symptoms.
You can get daily movicol which will help soften your stools and also you may take daily soluble fiber which you can buy over the counter in the pharmacy. Drinking plenty is important and being active as well. Taking probiotics might assist to improve your symptoms.
As for the stomach problems when you get treatment for back pain and sciatica it may be due to the side effects of the medications so it might be best to take pain medications after food and take omeprazole during the treatment to help protect the stomach.
