What Causes Constant Acute Pain Around The Navel?

Sir I was having acute pain around my navel for d past three days I tried all sorts of alternative medicine but they did not help. Today I have been to a physician who after examination told me that it s IBS and prescribed nexpro, rifagut 550,normaxin and vibact IBS. My only concern is that if eat normaxin 3 times a day it will aggravate my constipation which will further create problem for the piles and fissure problem. Please suggest me a solution as soon as possible as I am in great pain.

Hi,

I see you have been diagnosed with IBS which is the cause for the pain around navel and your concern is regarding constipation as a side effect of normoxic prescribed for IBS. The most common side effects of normaxin is constipation, I would recommend you to take a high fiber diet or you could take a fiber powder and drink 3 to 4 liters of water to help with the constipation.

In case symptoms persist I see you take 3 times a day which you could reduce gradually to twice a day or discuss regarding alternate medication with your physician.
