What Causes Constant Back Pain Post Trauma?

So I broke my back L1 all the way down to my tailbone a few years ago. I was in a body brace for about 9 months. Here recently I ve been having extremely painful back pain around the same spot I broke my back. And I am needing to know what I can do to help. It s a constant pain.

It would be best, since there is a previous history of fracture, for you to see your doctor or an orthopedic specialist for assessment.

You may need repeat imaging of the spine to determine the exact cause of your symptoms.

Treatment would depend on the cause found but may include physiotherapy, oral pain medication, muscle relaxants, possible injectable medication as well.
Further treatment would depend on the problem seen on imaging
