Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Constant Blinking Of The Eyes While On Antibiotics?
I m concerned about my 4 year old grandson. He starting to do something funny with his eyes. He blinks then looks to the side and stares. It was just discovered today that their furnace was putting out high levels of carbon dioxide. Could he be affected by that? He has been taking an antibiotic and an allergy medication for a sinus infection, also. If he has been affected what can be done for treatment of carbon dioxide poisoning?
As per my clinical experience, the current presentation seems possible alteration in the motor functioning of levator palpebrae superioris, rectus muscles of the eye or else.
An immediate visit to ophthalmologist recommended without delay.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
