What Causes Constant Burning Sensation In The Throat After Eating?

i have constant burning in my throat and mouth, everything i eat bothers my throat, had an endoscopy and it only showed minor gastritis and small hiatal hernia. Taking Dexilant am, Ranitidine pm, and occasional Gaviscon. Everything i eat or drink bothers me. Cant get any relief from anything. Dr. is sending me to ear nose and throat specialist to see if they can find the cause . Meds dont work, nothing works to relieve the constant burning in throat, teeth, tongue

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Constant burning sensation in your throat could be cause by GED, laryngopharyngeal reflux, hiatal hernia...Drugs alone may not help you feel better.I will suggest you stick to your drugs as prescribed and adopt the following home measure:
-Eat in small quantities and frequently
-Avoid eating and lying on the bed immediately
-Avoid foods that aggravate symptoms like fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine
-Maintain a healthy weight
-Avoid tight-fitting clothing
-Elevate the head of your bed
-Don't smoke
-Take alcohol in moderation.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
