What Causes Constant Chronic Pain In The Back Of Head?

I've had chronic pain in the back of my head in the bone on the right side for the past three months. While the pain as been mild to moderate, it has been constant, from sunrise to sunset. I do have a history of migraines, but this pain seems so different.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant chronic pain in the back of head . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like inflammation the blood vessels in and around the brain , infections, such as meningitis , intracranial pressure , brain tumor and brain injury . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan and MRI to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor will check vitals . Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , atenolol , topiramate , NSAIDs and botulinum toxin .
