What Causes Constant Diarrhea Along With Painful Rectum?

Hi, yes, I saw my Primary Care doc today and have a gastrointestinal bug. I m busy hydrating but now it s been 5 days where at least 3 days of that has been constant diarrhea. What can do, if anything, for comfort for my bottom? My rectum is now so chaffed and painful since I still need to go every 15 minutes. Worse than preparing for a colonoscopy! Should I apply a little chaffing cream, Vaseline, or nothing but a warm wash cloth? I forgot to ask my dr this afternoon. Thank you.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of frequent bowel movement particularly diarrhoea you are developing after a couple of days could change your body fluid status
In view of this please do the following test : HIV TEST
OCCULT STOOL CULTURE
I am suggesting you may have the following diagnosis :
Chrohn disease
Antibiotic colitis
Retroviral disease
Celiac disease
Meanwhile take thalazole tablet lomotil tablet clindamycin pending the outcome of the result
