Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is very dizzy. So dizzy that he can t even walk without support. He says it feels like he is drunk. He s also vomited once since I ve been home (I think he threw up once before I got home). He s now sleeping lightly. He has woken up briefly to tell me he still feels dizzy. The symptoms started suddenly about 3 hours ago. What can I do for him?
Consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like anaemia and thyroid dysfunction.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes. As of now drink plenty of water to keep himself hydrated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
