MY WIFE IS 56 YEARS OF AGE, WEIGHS 165 POUNDS HAS PERIODIC SPELLS OF DIZZYNESS OR VERTIGO. SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TESTS A WHILE BACK AND THEY COULDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. NOW SHE IS LAYING IN BED, SHE HAS DRANK SOME WATER, A LITTLE CHICKEN BROTH, AND A SMALL PEICE OF CHOCOLATE BECAUSE THE NEIGHBOR MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT HER BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL. I HELP HER TO THE BATHROOM AND BACK TO HER BED. I TRIED TO GET HER TO SET UP BUT WHEN SHE IS UP SHE SAID HER HEAD IS SPINNING AND SHE IS DIZZY! ALSO SHE HAS THROWN UP IN THE MORNING AND THE BROTH AND CHOCOLATE I GAVE HER JUST ABOUT 15 MINUTES AGO IS COMING UP BECAUSE I CAN HERE HER! ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Giddiness and vomiting be related to conditions affecting the system which maintains the balance of the body. Visit ENT surgeon or neurologist for further management, take rest and fluids in less quantity and more frequently to prevent dehydration.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
