What Causes Constant Dull Ache In Right Hip?

I am an 18 year old female. I do not really do much and never run but for the last half of the year I have been feeling sharp pains in my right hip that hurts when I sit, walk, and even just stand still. It has gotten so bad that I can not sleep due to the constant aches if the sharp pain dulls. What in the world could be the cause of this?

might be an old injury of hip joint, take mri of hip joint and consult orthopedic surgeon.take some rest. knee and ankle joint should be examined to exclude refered pain.
