What Causes Constant Dull Pain In Lower Abdomen Postpartum?

I ve been experiencing a constant dull pain in my lower left abdomen. I am 8 months postpartum with my first baby, and we are currently trying for our second. I am still breastfeeding and I am a frequent runner. It gets worse when I am running, but the pain subsides once I drop the intensity down. Any ideas on what this could be?

Hi,
welcome to the health care magic and thanks for asking your query here

You may have a hernia. That is, the muscles that run down the length of your abdominal wall and help to keep your belly flat, may have separated during your pregnancy. When these muscles separate, your intestines may push forward and cause your abdomen to protrude. Your abdomen is also a common area for fat to deposit both during and after pregnancy
Its been just 8 months of your first delivery of and i would advise You to consult with a surgeon before trying to convince me again to determine whether you have a hernia that can be repaired with surgery

I hope it helps
Thanks and get well soon
